How do I measure correctly?
Measure the full distance between the two walls (or wall and post) where the gate will be installed.
Please send us the total width of the entire barrier including side posts — this ensures a perfect fit.
Can you make a gate high enough for large dogs or for added child safety?
Yes. We can increase the height for tall pets or for parents who prefer extra stability. Just send us your preferred height.
Can you raise the bottom so my robot vacuum can pass underneath?
Yes. We can build the gate with a small, custom bottom clearance so robot vacuums can move freely without needing to open or move the gate.
Does the gate come with installation hardware?
Yes. All hardware and simple instructions are included. The gate mounts securely to walls, posts or columns.
What surfaces can it be mounted on?
Drywall, solid wood posts, tile, brick, and concrete. If your wall is uneven, let us know - we will give the best mounting solution.
Is drilling required?
For the safest installation, drilling is recommended. If you need a non-drill option, write to us - some customers use alternative mounting methods, and we can advise depending on your walls.
Can the gate swing open? Is it hinged?
Yes. The gate opens like a normal door. If you want the opening direction changed (left/right), simply tell us after purchase.
Does the gate lock securely?
Yes. The latch mechanism is sturdy and designed for daily use. If you prefer a stronger pet-grade latch, ask us - we can upgrade it.

Yes. Wood is smooth, hand-sanded, and finished with child-safe water-based varnish. There are no sharp edges or toxic materials.

What type of wood do you use?
We use solid European beech - a premium hardwood known for strength and stability.
No MDF, no plywood, no softwoods.
Does the wood warp or crack over time?
No. The wood is kiln-dried to 7–9% moisture, which prevents movement and ensures long-term stability.
Can I order the gate unfinished so I can paint it myself?
Yes. Many customers choose the unfinished option to match their interior.
Can you match a specific color?
Yes. We can stain or paint the gate in any RAL or custom color. Just send us a reference.
Are the slats spaced safely for children and pets?
Yes. Standard spacing is child-safe. If you want a different spacing, we can customize it.
How much weight can the gate handle?
The construction is strong enough for daily use, leaning pressure, and active pets. The frame is hardwood and does not bend.
Can I return a custom-made gate?
Custom sizes are made specifically for your opening, so returns for size mistakes are not possible.
But: if the product arrives damaged or incorrect, we replace or fix it immediately.
To avoid sizing issues, please measure carefully or send us a photo of the opening - we will verify the measurement for you.
